I come from a very small town in Uriangato Mexico, I came to the United States at a very young age with my family in hopes of a better future. We were very blessed to have had an opportunity to move to a country that offered us a more secure life. Although my father is a worker in the campo, he makes a honest living and has always provided for his family. My family has been an inspiration for me to continue my education because they have been an example of courage and determination ever since I can remember. I want to be able to one day look back and say I took the opportunity my parents gave me when they decided to move here and made something wonderful with it. My passion is helping people and being able to do it as a job would by a dream because I truly believe when they say if you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life, that is what I think when I imagine myself as a registered nurse and potentially moving up to nurse practitioner. I currently attend Fresno State and I love it, I have learned so much and cannot wait to see if I get into nursing program. However, college is not cheap and every penny that I receive from investments will go towards materials I need for school which is why I feel I am a good investment. The money will be well spent and I am thankful for the opportunity given to me.
