I grew up in Gonzales California a small farming community. My parents are migrant farm workers who travel to Yuma and back to California often. They work sessional at farms mainly harvesting lettuce. When I am able I work alongside my family on the farms but it's very hard work. I have set my goals and my priories to attend higher education and seek a career. I am currently attending California state University, Fresno seeking an undergraduate degree in agriculture business. I am planning to go into the agricultural lending aspect. I am a part of the college assistance migrant program (CAMP) in Fresno State . I am in my third year at Fresno State and I have never been more excited. I current have an intership with Gerawan Farming as a sales intern. I am loving every moment of it.
