Rising Farmworker Dream Fund Terms of Use Agreement

By using the RFDF Exchange (www.rfdf.org) (the "Website") all participants and users ("you") agree to be bound by this Terms of Use Agreement this "Agreement", regardless of type of membership (Student, Investor, Mentor) in the RFDF Community. If you wish to become a User of the Website and/or participate in the Program, read this Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy

I. The Type of Information This Website Collects

Personal information

You choose to submit any required information to us when you join the RFDF Exchange, or at any point you choose to update your User Profile after having joined. The RFDF Exchange obtains this information when you login to your User Profile. This is done through the use of "cookies." Cookies are used to verify your login information, and by preference, store your password in your browser so that you do not need to type it in each time you visit. You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online by logging into your account and selecting the 'Profile' link at the top menu. RFDF.org does not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding our Users with any third party. We respect your privacy and do not share your information without your consent. However, we feel strongly that choosing to share some data with us will help make your experience on our community and other interactions with Rising Farmworker Dream Fund more successful for you. It is important to remember that your profile is fully visible. All information, such as school, degree, and background is made public so donors can contribute to any particular member of RFDF.

II. Registration

Basic personal information is required in order to register on RFDF.org:
* Name -Your first and last name is required to participate.
* Email Address -Your email address will be your account identification, and must be entered in order to login into your profile.
* Date of Birth -No children under 13 are allowed to participate.
* Student Verification -Students are required to provide the following to verify your enrollment:
* Student ID -Provide your Student Identification number.
* Transcript/Class Schedule -Scan and upload an image of your transcript/schedule with your name and school name.
* Description of Farmworking Background–Proof of connection to the farmworking community will be required.
* Proof of Address –Students are also required to provide a document to prove their address. This could be a driver’s license.

III. Legal Disclosures

It is posible that we will need to disclose information about you when required by law. If we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to(1) investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities or to assist government enforcement agencies; (2) enforce our agreements with you, (3) investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, (4) protect the security or integrity of our Service (such as by sharing with companies facing similar threats); or (5) exercise or protect the rights and safety of Rising Farmworker Dream Fund, our Members, personnel, or others.

IV. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of our site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. Information collected prior to the time any change is posted will be used according to the rules and laws that applied at the time the information was collected.

V. PRIVACY POLICY COORDINATOR

Sometimes people might have some specific questions that are not explicitly covered in your Privacy Policy. For example, where they can learn more about their right to privacy or who they can talk to if they have a question about their privacy. VI. Scholarship Payments

Payments are paid generally a 3 monthsafter an assigned task is completed, but may be paid earlier or later based on the sole discrection of the RFDF Team. Donations made directly to students have a standard processing fee of 15%, which may increaseor decreateat a later time without notice; this fee may be waived at the sole discretion of the RFDF team. Funds are to be used to pay for qualified educational expenses and may be taxable to the students/ pre-MBA professionals. Please check with your tax advisor for specific circumstances.

VII. Account Closure

You may close your account at any time, in which case, your information will no longer be held by RFDF. We generally deactivate an account within 30 days of notice.
