I was born in Florida to a single mother. I have six siblings of which I am the second oldest. Growing up my family lived pay check to pay check. This was particularly hard on my mom who jumped from job to job trying to support all of her children. Sometimes during the summer our family would travel to where we could do seasonal farm work. One summer we ended up in Michigan and ended up staying. Watching my mother jump from job to job trying to support all of children made me value hard work. It made me mature faster then I probably would have on my own. In a way it prepared me for the real world. I am now attending Western Michigan University and majoring in Finance. I want to be some sort of finance manager. I want to show people how to live with in their means. I want to teach them that you don't have to make a whole lot of money to have a good balanced lifestyle.
