Growing up in California's Central Valley, work in agriculture was plentiful for my family and me. I've worked long hours in the fields along with my parents and my siblings to help provide for the household and provide myself with any supplies I needed. My parents raised me to work hard and make something of myself, and inspired me to go to college and further my education so that someday I can give back to them what they gave to me. I recently started my first semester of college, and my goal is to obtain a degree in Social Work. Working long and hard hours in the field taught me be appreciative of what I have and work hard to better myself as well as help others around me.
