My migrant life started really young, ever since we moved back to Texas. I used to work in the fields with my parents to help them. I didn't mind waking up at five in the morning because I knew I was doing something for my family. I also didn't complain because I didn't want to make my parent sad or feel bad. I used to tell them, that I like it." In reality I didn't like it, I didn't like being in hot outside that's why I decided to change the path of our family by attending college and give my brother and younger siblings a different way to see their life. That is not all about the farm work.
Neither my mom nor sister graduated from High School. I knew my mom's dream was for at least one of us attended to college and here I am. I came to Western Michigan University to learn about other cultures, participate in new experiences, grow my independence, and obtain a degree. My primary goal is to obtain my degree in make my mother proud.I intend to graduate from Western Michigan University with my major in Finance and minor in Entrepreneurship.
