The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all information submitted or collected on RFDF.org. On some pages, you can specify personal profiles that may be viewable by other registered members of this website.
We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. For example, we collect Personal Information such as your name, email address, school status, migrant status, PayPal Account, browser information, and third-party account credentials (for example, your log-in credentials for Facebook, LinkedIn or other third-party sites). If you provide us with your third-party account credentials, you agree that some information and/or content in those accounts ("Third Party Account Information") may be transferred into your RFDF.org account if you authorize such transmissions, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy.
At no time do we attempt to reconcile any information you provide (included your IP address as indicated below) with offline identity or other personal information.
The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provided about yourself at registration to authorize your membership. We also record IP address you're using at the time of log-in.
Your addresses are not used for any other purpose and will never be shared with outside parties and are not viewable by unregistered members.

From time to time data cookies will be set by various portions of the application code that runs the forums. At no time is any personally identifying information (other than site username) ever stored in these cookies. Members are provided with a private messaging system as part of their membership privileges. Rising Farmworker Dream Fund Terms of Use Agreement
By using the RFDF Exchange (www.rfdf.org) (the "Website") all participants and users ("you") agree to be bound by this Terms of Use Agreement this "Agreement", regardless of type of membership (Student, Investor, Mentor) in the RFDF Community. If you wish to become a User of the Website and/or participate in the Program, read this Terms of Use Agreement.
I. The Type of Information This Website Collects
Personal information
You choose to submit any required information to us when you join the RFDF Exchange, or at any point you choose to update your User Profile after having joined. The RFDF Exchange obtains this information when you login to your User Profile. This is done through the use of "cookies." Cookies are used to verify your login information, and by preference, store your password in your browser so that you do not need to type it in each time you visit. You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online by logging into your account and selecting the 'Edit Profile' link at the top menu. RFDF.org does not sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding our Users with any third party. We respect your privacy and do not share your information without your consent. However, we feel strongly that choosing to share some data with us will help make your experience on our community and other interactions with Rising Farmworker Dream Fund more successful for you.
II. Registration
Basic personal information is required in order to register on RFDF.org:
- Name - Your first and last name is required this is how you are identified when you participate in forums.
- Email Address - By providing your email address. Message forum notifications such as messages sent to you by other members rely on the email address you provide when you register. Your email address will be your account identification, and must be entered in order to login into your profile.
- Date of Birth - No children under 13 are allowed to participate.
- Student Verification - Students are required to provide one of the following to verify your enrollment:
- Student ID - Provide your Student Identification number.
- Student Email - Provide your assigned student e-mail address.
- Transcript - Scan and upload an image of your transcript with your name and school name.
- Description of Farmworking Background (if applicable) – Proof of connection to the farmworking community will be required.
- Contact information of two individuals who can verify your connection to the farmworking community (if applicable) – References will be required.
Random audits will be preformed.
III. Participation in the Program
RFDF.org hosts a message forum, for both public and private use. Administrators and Moderators have the right to suspend any user account that may have false information. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. You may not engage in transmitting any chain letters or junk email to forum members. Activity will monitored by forum moderators. Moderators assume no responsibility to monitor the conduct of its members off the Website. It is a violation of this Agreement to use any information obtained from the Website in order to harass or harm another person.
IV. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of our site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. Information collected prior to the time any change is posted will be used according to the rules and laws that applied at the time the information was collected.
